Advanced Graphics London is proud to be working with Ian and Pamela Rosmarin towards an exceptional event. We hope to help Ian and Pam continue with their creative and inspirational fundraising initiative Acorns to Great Oaks. The donations raised from An Art 'Cell'ebration will directly support the Novel 'Cell'ular Therapies Centre at Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Toronto, Canada.
For a taste of the work included in the art event please see the ARTISTS section of our website, and, to discover how the prints are made, please visit the STUDIO section. There will be over 100 signed original, limited edition or unique works on paper available to support the charity, by 25 established British artists, some of whom are Royal Academicians.
“Having purchased a couple of large Bert Irvin works from Advanced Graphics London, for Prime Quadrant’s office reception area, and ascertaining that Advanced Graphics is one of the world’s finest sources of limited edition, original prints, I approached Louise Peck and Bob Saich to provide most of the inventory for the Nov. 5th, 2024 Art ‘Cell’ebration in support of the new Novel Cell Therapies Centre at The Princess Margaret.
Pam and I were privileged to visit the Advanced Graphics production facility in London this past June. There we witnessed how essential to the creative process is the role of the print maker and their collaboration with the artist.
Screen printing is done by hand and can entail as many as 60 printings (passes) per piece, with the artist there to blend colours and calibrate their vibrancy. We were amazed to discover that every piece of paper on which these works are printed is hand made and realized how affordable these prints are in light of the effort and artistry that goes into their production, over and above the artist’s creativity and artistry.
Most of our art collection is comprised of original limited edition prints and they have given us many decades of pleasure.”
AN ART 'CELL'EBRATION will take place on Tuesday 5 November 2024
at Shaarel Shomaylm Synagogue, 470 Glencairn Ave, North York,
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
