Marking 50 years of the print studio we returned to the Business Design Centre for the first fair of the year. We exhibited prints made by us spanning five decades, including the earliest piece on the stand by Tess Jaray (dated 1971), hanging directly next to the most recent prints by the same artist (finished days before the fair opened). Artists on dislay included: Craigie Aitchison, Basil Beattie, Neil Canning, Anthony Frost, Clyde Hopkins, John Hoyland, Alan Kitching, John McLean and Alice Mara. Our centrepiece was a stunning acrylic on canvas by Albert Irvin which we were pleased to borrow from Gimpel Fils.
